March 26, 2000 - A local TV station interviews the Journeyers on the morning of Day 3 of the Journey for Justice, Florida - medical Cannabis (marijuana) patients and caregivers rolling and walking 140 miles along the back roads of northern Florida, in solidarity with lead patient Cathy Jordan, who has ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease. They intend to see Gov Jeb Bush and demand compassion for all patients.
Soon a big thunderstorm blows in and, as wheelchairs can't roll in the rain, Journey organizers Kay Lee and Jodi James walk in the lightning and torrential downpour.
That evening the Journeyers check into a motel on the edge of town, where police cruisers swarm the area, trying to intimidate the activists and give them the most tense night of the Journey. What will tomorrow bring?
Note: Cannabis is an anti-inflammatory and neuroprotectant, both of which help Cathy survivie ALS, an auto-immune disease. Follow her story, including much more FL Journey footage at:

Brave Souls All!
Activists walk in lightning and pouring rain to help ALS (Lou Gehrig's) patient Cathy Jordan take her plea to Jeb Bush in 2000. If they could do this, what can we do now to bring America into truly modern medicine?
