I'm hungarian, live in NYC. My boss has a vizsla. Amazing how people are reacting to them. They are always upbeat, they have lots of love to give and wouldn't hurt anybody for anything - but at the same time very alert and protective if necessary. I trust my life to him, and he loves me, doesn't matter what. Many times it really sucks to be "magyar" but in this case, I always feel proud.

@enikavicsos as an american and magyar i have always been proud of my Hungarian heritage. Vizsla's are just one thing of a million that make Hungary great!

They are just sooo good and sensible with children! The other day at the park my 6 month old Vizsla raced over to a little boy who cut open his knee on the gravel, licked his face and comforted him until mum arrived, not a single tear was shed... :)
Only thing that can be a little scary is when they come flying towards you in full gallop, but I don't think a Vizsla would ever intentionally hurt a child

my freind knows this lady whose 2 year old got his face bitten off by a dog and he recently had to go through reconstrutive surgery

hahaha :p My dogs name is ''VIto'' (after the godfather) Don't know why my father chose that name. In my opinion his name should've been Frodo xD

I love my vizsla too. I don't care if he erodes everithing. :) His name is Avar. He is a really bad but smart dog.
When I'm colleticting the pieces of his "preys" he always plays ninja and try to be invisible.:)

@TheWezel1995 Keep him sad! (I'm kidding):) I think there is nothing to do.:(
Vizslas don't like baby meat - they're too fussy.

Yes - you have to ignore him and not make a big deal when you greet him - as extremely painful that may seem :) He should grow out of that by two...is he still young?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
being a dog owner myself,i find this very hard to say,but it is completely irresponsable and ignorant to let an animal be so close to an infant..no matter how cute, fun, and caring a dog can be,it will ALWAYS stay an animal, and you should always watch out
