  • Episode 4 was a little better than 3.

Question for the producers of this series: was every battle in the Pacific at night ?

I know the darkness makes it easier to shoot mistakes or not to have a big budget but come on.

  • After watching the first 3 episodes. I have to say that I'm not very impressed with this series. Episode 3 almost put me to sleep, last night. It was like watching a daytime soap opera for goodness sake. Don't get me wrong. I'm waiting for this to get good, but so far I'll just give it a C+ and that's being a little too generous, at this point in the series.

Nothing like Band of Brothers. Which was superb.

Even John Adams was very good.

    But this is just....weak.

    Keeping my fingers crossed.

  • In the Pacific.. the Marines especially the 1st Battalion Marines were the combat soldiers while the Army was in charge of support. Although they hated each other.. they relied on each other.

  • No i have no qualms against what you said, my older brother is a marine, so i know what you mean, also a Theater the troops in it are generalized as "The army" if you know what i mean

  • Yea totaly, the army played a big part. Sorry I didn't mean to be a dick about it....jst felt like pointing out because heaps of people never draw the difference between the two services :)

  • I don't mean army as in the branch of the military i mean army as in the whole theater, and yes the army was present in the pacific, the marines just moved in first

  • The Army? These are marines.

  • @ryko26 saving private ryan

  • I have no idea man. I wasn't there for it and I am assuming you weren't either. I'm not really caring about the one liners at this point so much as i am geeking about this series coming out.

  • @Emokadaj yes we know that. But after Spielberg/Hanks "Saving Private Ryan"?
