it's the three suits that were built together as prototypes in the original gundam series. gundam, guncannon, and guntank. later, GMs and other mass produced mobile suits would be made.

You mean like, prototypes for the Gms, Zeta, Destiny Gundam etc etc? But if the other series are in a different timeline (C.E. 73, A.D., etc etc), then how did THEY get Gundams? And what does RX stand for?

Try not to drag the alternate timelines into this. the rest, you know, just kinda got Gundams in their own ways, can't be for sure how, but it's best to consider the similar looks to be coincidence, in terms of story.

but yeah, these three were all the prototypes for the other Feddie suits seen during the One Year War. All were mass-produced in some simpler form.
