@Zergrushzerg I never understood what people meant when they said something was gay. Are you implying that if we were to anthropomorphize anime that it would have gay sex? Are you using it as some vague derogatory because you couldn't thing of a better way of describing the faults of this particular branch of animation?

@Zergrushzerg I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you have seen both Black Swan and Perfect Blue (If you haven't then your some annoying jakckass who likes to go to videos other people enjoy and try to get as much attention as possible because you are a lonely miserable excuse of an person with a Youtube account and a desperate need for communication of any kind; But I highly doubt that ). What is it about Perfect Blue that you didn't like and thought Black Swan did so much better?

I'm disappointed. I loved the Black Swan, with it's attention to detail and work that went into the production (I work in a studio myself so I think about more criteria than most) Black Swan is still a piece of cinematic art that embraces the directorial/visual/storytellin­g style that makes us love Perfect Blue and other animes so much. Like the LionKing/Kimba thing, Aronovsky should have said the film was a homage to Perfect Blue and there would have been no shame, but a display of good taste.

"buy the rights" it seems to be the perfect excuse for the lack of imagination and creativity in hollywood. and he even said black swan is not related with perfect blue? lol. Get inspired by the work of someone else is one thing, but rip off someone else's work is just not right, no matter if you buy it

Aronofsky is a dumbass. I used to like him for movies such as Requiem For A Dream but he disgusted me with his idiotic copy of Perfect Blue. Shame on you, Aronofsky; RIP Satoshi Kon ... and what about Paprika - Inception ... Hollywood really sucks.

@cesaraeon I perosnally think requiem was better then perfect blue. Not to mention to this day requiem is considered one of the most depressing films of all time. I felt like gagging after watching it. And aranofski bought the rights, so he could use the bathtub scene.
