Note: Installation may vary with laptop model and flash drive, you may encounter issues, this is just what I did.

Here I talk about how I installed Windows XP on my Acer Aspire One A110 with just a USB Thumb Drive (Kingston DataTraveller 100 1GB). This is aimed at a how-to for anyone in a similar situation.

This was done using the USB Multiboot Tool (Credit and Kudos to the authors).

    You have to set your HDD type to IDE.

    You can change this by going to the BIOS, on the "Settings" tab and you will have something like AHCI/IDE. Select IDE, save and reboot !

    There you go :D

  • @ in TXT Mode, it says it can't copy any files! Anyone knows why?

  • i used my PSP in USB mode to instal XP and 7 XD

  • when i get to the 2nd part in the cmd prompt i get an error ( ***** F: has NOT FAT FAT32 or NTFS and is not valid***** press any key to continue...)

  • what to do when on PeToUSB shows error like this:

    FormatEx Error[11]: An Error Occurred Formating the drive?
