What a moron, humans have an inate tendency to do the right things (i.e.good) and not do the wrong things (i.e. evil).
Atheist do not say there is no god but because of a lack of any credible evidence of the existance of god there is no reason to believe in it.
Besides, as for the "few" smart atheists i suspect you didn't do your research. more than 95% of scientists and inteligentia in your country do not believe there is a god
