Shoe retirement/ ceremonial burning

i finally got some new shoes, so i decided, as a "retirement" or "ceremonial passing of the torch" (no pun intended) to burn my old ones.
I am now using the New Balance 766's (which are actually a discontinued model) with good results.

It can now be revealed that the path is parallel to the famous amtrak "Northest corridor." And, if you listen in at, i think, 2:57 you can hear a superfast train rush by.

I could not find my tripod, so i apogle for the sometimes shaky camera work. Also, i could not let the video run all the way to the end because a) youtube only allows 10 mins content and b)I got a little nervous because, i think, someone on one of the commuter trains saw me and called the FD. So i had to get the hell out of there anyways. i estimate that the shoes burned on for probably 3 hours total.

More interesting videos to come. I promise. Just give me some time.

I know those were New Balance. Were they the 471s, they sure looked like it. I cant wait to see those 766s getting set on fire and punished.
