  • That wasn't on 3g it had the wifi bar rite there u lire

  • By the way the Note app that is standard on all iPhones and Ipod touch is really nice but the fact that is doesn't have any type of document reading, not even basic text documents, which even 3rd gen iPods do....a bit of a fall through for apple but over all it's a solid system. just not for me.

  • The iPhone does have a rock solid OS because it revolves around simplicity. PUSH is not something that currently is going on the iPhone. It lacks a lot of shortcut features having only a touch screen making some task very long. FW3.0 is coming out but it is very unlikely that it will get flash because this product revolved around single app use and touch concepts so it may not have the processing power as compared to phones designed to run multiple apps such as the HTCDiamond or bb bold.

  • Great review. I love the fact that your review is clearly unbiased, unlike those reviews from iPhoneBlog.

  • No, Dieter Bohn is his name, he even typed it on the iPhone...

But I must agree, good review.

  • Did he say Peter Bone?!...poor uy...great vid though

  • Top of contacts to see the search box is a 'single' tap of the clock/status bar.

  • Nice to see a review that doesn't either just discuss how great or how aweful the iPhone is. Great review.

To get to the top of your contact list, double tap the clock at while on looking at your list.

  • It's always great to get a review from other smartphone perspective.

  • Cool video. Very fair and (i thought) objective, good job.

I might add that i am a pc/windows guy but i recently bought an iphone 3G and i must say that i am very happy with it even though it has it's flaws, some of witch you touched on and some that you didn't. But still in the end it's a joy to use and will only continue to get better. Also on the hardware side it's a dream, really feels like the quality product it is.
