@gfscarface13 some say it has to do with the stadium, who knows maybe it does, maybe baseball just isnt that big in Fla. You can only buy your way so far in baseball but you have to have a decent minor league system to bring up younger guys, does it help the Yanks spend as much money as they do? Of course it helps but its not a promise for anything. What i dont want to see is a cap cause look at what it did to football, it made a big mess out of it. same teams every year

@MrBillyBatts1 The marlings owner had to keep some money in his accounts cause it was no guarrantee the marlins would sell, have you seen their attendace? its awful most of the time, alot of empty seast, unlike the yanks will never have that problem.

You're telling me that the team w/ the lowest payroll has a chance at winning the world series? technically Yes, but not like the yanks which is alot better chances to win it with their All-Star line up. Its rediculuos to say that. Not a bills fan.

@gfscarface13 well the marlins owner doesnt put a dime into the team, he just puts it in his pocket but the real bottom line here is the lowest payroll has a shot to win the WS, not so in the NFL and thats the real difference. I think we are just gonna have to respectffully disagree on this matter which is fine, i guess being a bills fan i see how it is to be on both sides of this stick and it sucks bad rooting for a team like the bills cause you know they are done on opening kickoff

@MrBillyBatts1 Exactly the marlins won 2 world series, and what happend to them? they had fire sales after both Title years getting rid of their key players cause the owner wasn't going to afford the future payroll the young talent wanted to get and deservenly. The yankees could afford it. The marlins had to get lucky and they did, 1 shot this year and nothing next year cause they cant afford the players, unlike the yankees its a Shot every year. Thats the difference.

@gfscarface13 Hey i seen the Marlins win two WS title since "97, or thats twice as many as the phillies have during the same period or thats as many as the redsuks have over the same period and the marlins have the cheapest payroll around. You wont Ever see that in the NFL as there are certain teams you know damn well have zero chance no matter what (see lions, bills, browns, ect.). So much for your cap
