plzzz help:
so i have 10.10 on a disk running the "try it" version on my friends computer because he needs atleast 2.6 gb of disk drive space to install ubuntu. well, i cant get into his windows stufff because vista wont start up. i know theres a way to get to your windows files through terminal, but how? theres no videos anywere!! plz help. i need to free up space to download ubuntu.

use chmod 0775 * for the permissions and use sudo for root things only go on the root accont if you have to
