I remember once reading that this piece of music was the most identifiable piece of music in Canada, after the National Anthem. Sadly, younger people will not remember it quite so fondly as us old farts. Live on in our hearts, Friendly!

Just like Mr. Dressup, I miss the Friendly Giant. The music was so cool. I remember back in the 1980's somebody made a paradoy of the show and I felt it was in very poor taste and I was a teen! The Friendly Giant was our hero. We miss you.

Know whats cool? They were worried the jerome puppet Might get destroyed, Or damaged some how, And.. They could Never made another one like it, They tried and tried but it never came out the same way as the puppet.. Weird xD

I love it at rhe beginning when the friendly giant says ''Look Up, Way Up!'' and the theme song starts and the castle doors open slowly! That would have to be my favorite part of ''The Friendly Giant''!
