Mercedes C230 0-60 Acceleration

I took my 2007 Mercedes C230 Sport out one night to try and get a decent 0-60 time out of it. Im calling around 8 seconds on this one, which isn't terrible considering i forgot to turn the ESP off.

Haha yeahh, i know its sad for such a sweet car. But i guess back then, they werent really pushing the performance on the C-Class. To be honest, i like the 2007 styling better than the 2008 and up styling.

i get to 60 in about 7 seconds. i think its pretty quick for a lil 1.8L that gets 32 epa in the highway. its not too fast but it sure isn't slow. especially the new '12 turbo 1.8L

Hey man I have a 2007 c230 and I just want to make sure that you are pushing down hard enough to click on the "kick down" button thats below the normal stop of the gas pedal. Also I noticed that your car is set to [D] standard drive mode - Mercedes suggests setting the gear range to [3] which you can do by just holding the shifter towards the [D-] for a couple seconds - makes a much faster car especially after a few minutes when the chip adjusts

@dm919 The 6 speeds are a bit better. Mine will do 7.9-8 sec, not fast but very fun to drive. Nice vid btw

i think mercedes wants to make a bigger distinction between their classes there wasnt much point in spending the extra money in an e or s class if the cheaper c class has comparable power. thats why my 99 c280 is incredibly faster than my 07 c230.

Wow, that's a really nice car but...dang...my 4x4 Tacoma is faster than that........with the 4wd engaged! WAY faster.

the 2005 c230 kompressor is about 7,5. Much faster. i own one. The 2007 i dont think its supercharged any longer

I think the old turbo was better, no? Don't know why Mercedes switched to a small V6
