Wow! What a brilliant observation your son has made. The 60s and 70s were great decades for popular music and spawned an abundance of talent. Much of today's "manufactured" and tasteless tripe will never stand the test of time. The Moodies are indeed Magnificent.

  • I used to think I was weird because I like these guys, rather than such SOPHISTICATED music such as disco and punk rock. I'm glad there are others out there with my perspective.

I hope you enjoyed them. I have seem 3 times live and have every album from Day 1. In addition to Pink Floyd, one of the bestest groups ever.

  • @brennan60100 Forgive them, they didn't know what they were doing when they clicked dislike by mistake...

  • The Moodies eschewed placing their facial (own) photos/portraits on their Album/CD covers....how bout that?

  • @jmeyer4321 My husband and I have tickets to see The Moodies at a local casino as well. I wondered about the small venue, but with health problems I've had for the past two years, these were the only tickets we could afford. I've never seen them in concert and counting the days, hours, minutes !!!

  • 1 person dislikes this? It's totally beyond comprehension.

  • Sum just don't get this

  • Moody Blues, Crimson, Nektar, ELP, Zeplin, Floyd, Yes, All that folk Music too Dylan, Baez, Joni, Prine, CSNY Poco, and heavy metal coming in with Grand Funk and Sabbath, Purple, Some real good music in that Era. I cant find a radio station that plays any good muic today execpt a classical station , the rest is all commercial crap for the masses of pop culture.

  • The wife and I have seen the Moodies three times in concer - the last time at a local casino - if you can believe- seemed almost sacreligious to play their music there!! But as with truly great artists the setting was unimportant - the venue had only 1500 seats - we were center stage just a few rows back - at the end the crowd hollered for the band to return soon!

  • This track is too short. I've been watching it for the best part of an hour, over & over again. Pretty soon I'm going to need one of those transparent hospital bags injected into my arm, to supply me with nourishment, nutrients, vitamins, etc..

  • @JerichoDitch2 I was lucky enough to see The Moodies at the Montreal Forum in 1978. They did Legend of a Mind with the flute solo by Thomas that would have blown your doors off. Still the best!!
