These are the 6 short scenes from the 1950 film 'The Fireball' starring Mickey Rooney that Marilyn had a bit part in.

This is ultra-rare, rarely seen footage from Marilyn's early career and you can only see it on my channel.

Enjoy! :)

  • Maybe you can help me about another Marilyn film, you seem very informed. Although it does'nt star her, it's a biopic staring Catherine Hicks. I've haven't seen it since it's first release on TV and it does'nt seem to be anywhere I look. I think it was called "Marilyn, the untold story" and Catherine gave a very fine performance. Can you or anyone out there help me?

  • @MrSalsal59 It's on Youtube. Just type the name of the film into the search bar and you'll find the whole thing on here :). Glad to help.

  • Very Rare indeed. I've been a Monroe fan since '72 and this is my first glimpse of her in this film. How wonderful to see new (old) footage. I thank you very much for posting this. I've read about how she wanted her hair to look in this movie and that a special hair peice was needed, but the studio would'nt pay for it. But as always, our Ms. Monroe charmed the folks around her and got what she wanted. She and her hair look superb.

You're very welcome and thankyou for telling me that interesting story about Marilyn's involvement in the film. It's great to see that Marilyn had influence over people so early in her career when she was hardly known. Marilyn's parts were the best out of all the acting in this mediocre film. She looks great indeed :).

  • She was really nice in later 40's and early 50's.

  • @TheMarilyn1969monroe Well it's not on an official DVD as released by an American studio. Anyway, Marilyn's the only reason people would watch this and now they can see it on my channel instead of having to watch a mediocre Mickey Rooney flop lol ;).

  • @AntinousIsGod1 I live in The Netherlands and we can buy this in the music and dvd store....

  • @TheMarilyn1969monroe Correction, you can only buy this on bootleg DVDs. Otherwise it's not available.

  • Gee thanks for this, but u also can buy this on DVD-;)
