Prior to joining Blue Cheer, guitarist/vocalist Gary Lee Yoder, was a founding member of Kak, one of the most talented, versatile and underrated of all the psychedelic bands to come out of California in the 1960s. The group was together for only one year, and left behind a legacy of only a single album, Kak'ola. (more)

  • @rnrcandy02 nice web site

  • Rock 'N Roll; Thx for responding, KaK is a Gem, I'd crap my pants if I could hear one song on the airwaves. My album collection isn't that large from those days (20 or so) but I still have my first LP I ever bought, Jimi's "Are you Experienced" or Axis Bold as Love, can't recall exact title name. But I have a truckload of 45's from '63 to '71, the juke box supplier would give me all the switched out records when he changed them out, with covers! So what about Spooky Tooth, did you listen to them?

  • @72demons1 Glad someone else enjoys this. I show mine off too when I can. I love to share and hear new(to me) music. The rnr in my username stands for rock-n-roll. Music has gotten me through many a tough time. Glad I kept all my vinyl. They are a pat of who I am.

  • Alright rnCandy02! I still have mine too! I found this album by accident in a "We buy /trade 8-trac's and albums" hole in the wall store in K.C. in '71 (I think), just home from Nam and tryin to catch up on all the cool music I'd missed. But this album was GOLD along with Gary Wright's Spooky Tooth.

I still play it and show it off cause no one has heard this music b4. BTW I'm an RN also if that's what your username means. GL!
