Dan Yates was murdered in Jackson Mississippi at the Grove Apartments. He was in the parking lot while he sat in his car with an acquaintance. @The096757 There are a lot of sick, crazy people in the world so a random murder is a possibility whether it was for a gang initiation or other unknown reason.

@Larzabeth What I particularly want to solve is the "box in the box" murder, or known as "americas unknown child" murder, that one is mysterious and is haunting me in my dreams. Maybe I will become a detective and uncover the unsolved crimes and work through them.

@NDF211Gunner I have not heard of that case before. I will have to research it. Dan's case is the one that I want solved the most because I am friends on here with his mother. Not to sound cliche but she needs closure. And of course the murderer deserves to go to prison for taking Dan's life.

A prayer, Dear Heavenly Father, As I watched over this sad video of Dan Yates, Who's life was taken away by evil, I pray Lord, Please help find closure here in his death, By your grace and compassion may this this person give himself in and ask forgiveness in taking the life of one of your precious children, May all your Angels in your Holy Kingdom shine upon Dan's Family that peace will come unto them when this person comes forward and kneels before you God in forgiveness,Before he dies Amen

@CousinSusie Thank-you cousin Susie, It is still very hard to carry on with out my Dan every day. We had a love for each other. Dan would had been at my house every day if he was still living. On his way to work he would always stop by for a little while & visit- talk & go visit his rm. I miss Dan. Tears from my heart. Thanks for your kind comment. Looking for his killers.

My goodness Ava, I am finally watching this video and sitting here crying my eyes out!! This so sad, so tragic!! I can not imagine a Mother having to bury her child, I dont care how old they are they are our Children!! May Dan Rest In Peace Dear Lord & May Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him! Yes! i cut out an article about gang killing called an 6 & two more nos. I told the police in J.M. & they told me they had never heard of it. Ha! Who do they think they are kidding. Yes an Initiation. You are right. They have got drug killing in Jackson every day. My Dan was NOT into drugs, just girls & dancing ha.He was into health & workouts at a nice GYM. He was working on his ads. He was looking good & keeping in good shape. He was with Billy. Anyone know a Billy??
