@identitycrisis108 I see your post is 1 year old and its gotten no better. My business was cut to about 20% and I'm just about dead now thanks to this assholes willingness to bail out criminal organizations with my money. My parents sat on 6 acres of land they bought in 1968, by 2007 it had finally became worth something.. they had nothing but the land and fixed income.. now its worth next to nothing again and the rest of their lives completely ruined. Thats the short story, I'm ready to fight

Aig lol.. Federally guaranteed, regulated etc... the numbers they reported over the years were a complete lie while they were failing on a massive level. Not only did the Bush admin fail us but Obama continues to give Americans cash and equity away to elite corporations such as this. Its all a fucking lie and Obama continues to serve these MF's W my money... When are the kiddy college Democrats going to wake up and smell the coffee, they are guilty as well for their complacence and ignorance.

@iamauscitizen 2 years later and I still agree with you.

AIG insures the pension trust of the US Congress, so of COURSE it wasn't ever going to fail and Bear Stearns got destroyed on purpose for it.

Laissez-faire!

bailing out all these assholes did not make it any easeier on the average person.

Thank god mccain didn't get elected

I thought socialism was more friendly to independent businesses not corporation. This is all capitalistic greed.

Thats what the owners count on the fact that americans will probably remain willfully ignorant to the big red white and blue dick thats being jammed up their assholes every day. Because the owners of this country know the truth its called the american dream because you have to be asleep to believe it. RIP OLD MAN

We need a new government, before they create such a disaster that average Americans starve.
look, we ust saw what bush oversight did- the regulators did nothing but watch the industry tank. We need non-partisan regulation... now how we get THAT... is the question.

actually... nicks got a point... MORE is not necessary. We just need to give the seven regulatory agencies currently charged with oversight, a swift kick in the arse... and get them doing their jobs. We need to stop letting the corporations appoint and staff their government regulatory agencies.
Thats the fundamental problem here... corruption through corporate influence.
