Barbagallo was my favorite in the Tchaikowski competition years ago. Although he placed 4th(?) he was by far the better musician of the lot. His Schumann is what got me. This piano he plays here is a super luxuriant Baldwin I think. What a rich and bejewelled sound he gets from it.
