Bill Bailey from 1955 -- Is the Moonwalk this old?

Videoclip of Bill Bailey from approximately 1955. A very talented dancer with great balance and control of his feet. I was pretty shocked to see the last few seconds! It raises an interesting question -- who really invented the moonwalk?

People need to understand in the entertainment business people gets credit for things they never invented...as we know everything is reinvented and none of us has not done something someone else has done or thought about doing. We can probably go back to even further than Bill Bailey doing the moonwalk to someone else doing it before he. Not to mention those who had never been recorded doing it.

He was such a Gentleman. I saw this clip on Yahoo and I had to go back and see it again.

He is also one of my inspirations. He could moonwalk,dance and balance. This is the second time I have heard about him and He's already liked by me. I wonder if he's still alive.

True, but what do you want people to do?? he was the one recorded doing it as you said, so obviously he would get credit for same. No one who really built the pyramids but the Europeans said it was them, now thats funny...

The 'original moon walk' didn't come from here. This move is something that has been around for ages before any technology even existed to record its birth. However talented dancers such as Bill Bailey, Calloway etc all added their own style to it, then ofcourse MJ enhanced it and perfected that illusion of moving forward while going backwards.

So Michael Jackson has taken credit for "A LOT" of things he didnt create such as lyrics, dance moves? OReally? Please enlighten us and tell us when did Michael ever do this and for what song/dance/etc?.. It's ok take your time for something that doesn't exist. :D
