  • Looks great, but I really wish you wouldn't add in sound effects like you did.

  • That was the actual sound of Ole Myrtle. If you are talking about the sounds I added to the silent movies I have placed on YouTube, I would suggest that you just turn your speakers off when you watch them.

  • @zaffdoc why turn your speakers off when you watch them

  • @skateboardrider100 >>>---> I was talking about old silent videos I put up on YouTube that I added sounds.

  • @PlanesTrainsAutos The sound you hear on the video is the actual sound of the detroit diesel engine. The sound just over whelmed the cameras microphone.

  • @MF443 American La France is the name of the company that built the truck. They built several models over the past 140 some odd years. I own a 1970 1000 series ladder chief, basicly the same truck as shown in the video but in a lower profile.

  • Why that fire truck is called "American LaFrance" ??? Is it a link with France ???

  • where is this at? the color of the truck kinda look like Bristol Tenn.

  • @zaffdoc Ok lets be honest here you added a sound effect to the engine sound were not dumb

  • Very nice!!! Its as old as me, and looks and SOUNDS fantastic!! Thanks for sharing!!

  • @zaffdoc i saw another video of it....it's great to know theres still older trucks in service
