:( . no luck with both phones. A couple of things I noticed. One the sim cards from ATT as compared to Tmoblie are different the Tmoblie card has a bigger contact area. Two, I can load Pwnage 3.1 on the phone and do the sn0w app just fine. Its just I get no tmoblie service. I'm guess that my phone 'IS" jailbroking but there something up with the sim card. ??????

Make sure 3g is turned off. if you know anyone else that has tmobile ask ti swap theres into your phone. Maybe a new sim. It has to work. Im baffled ;(

So I used Itune to restore my phone. Then I re-Pwnaged again said no to being pwnaged and followed the steps including the Cydia steps. no service. Question is do I just star over and try it again or wait for pwnage updates or find another phone to Pwone. I have one on stand by now. Thanks.

You have to use the custom ipsw. Do not update the 3.1 with itunes stock ipsw. You can lock your phone forever from be jailbroken. Try it again but this time when it asks you if pwned before hit yes and see what it does

:( . 3g is off, no luck. The firmware FYI is 05.11.07 and its stays in searching mode for a while then switches to no service. When in Cydia I downloaded the Hacker version and complete download when prompted. Other than trying another sim card. NO SERVICE :( . I wish you lived around the block from me cuss this is a bit of a mystery and my wife is hating on me for dropping ATT. I was dropping 6 out of 10 calls, went though 3 iphone replacements and hours of "tech" support from ATT.

Update. After looking over my notes I notice that the 1st jailbreak I DID not use the CUSTOM ipsw file and used the one from the internet :( ( no service) . So then I re-Pwnaged to the point where it said Have you pwnaged before if so stop and go into revery mode and use the ipsw file. (duh... I used the same file again but I found that out when I tunes gave me an error code of 1600. I think this Iphone is now locked out for Pwnaging now.
