Why did he choose this pure, soul song?! I liked him in the earlier stages of the competition, but this was atrocious.

K I love Andrew but this wasn't his song. No i dont think he was on anything before he went on, he's just trying to become more... Like trying to show his personality, that's what they look for.
I think it was a good idea to try it without the guitar, obviously it hurt him, but thats what american idol is all about, finding who you are as an artist. THey have to try everything, they have to know their weak points and their strong points, but from people who know what they're talking about.

He's obviously singing the way the singing coaches or someone is telling him to.....he needs to perform with his guitar, thats who he is...... Plus they gotta sing old songs, top 40 and phil collins and stupid stuff like that......not Andrews fault....
