    Years later, guess what? 1) It still counted as a goal 2) Sabres still have not won the Cup.3) Barry Melrose is still an ass, and sucks. SO STFU and move on with your life!!! BTW LA Kings vs NJ for the Stanley Cup, this is the current. For those of you just now joining us from 1999, I welcome you 2012.

    i see your point, and yeah people should stop bitching but regardless, that was an illegal goal at the time and should not have counted, and would have definitly changed the outcome of the game regardless of who won, point and case, it was not a goal but counted as one
