  • Shows off Richter's outstanding art for good tone, projection and phrasing really well.

    The double trills were fantastic.

A few wrong notes here and there which show he was human like the rest of us after all!

  • Superb! He was a superb artist! Bravo! TY.

  • His piano was singing

  • On occasions I have felt Richter to be somewhat miscast in Chopin, however here he gets it just right.

  • The greatest pianist ever!

  • Mistake at the trill after 1:23 ?

  • after arrau, arrau was # 1 all rounded pianist-musician-artist

  • Richter the greatest artist who ever lived? Please collect yourself..

  • Richter has an interesting way of capturing the essence of every composer.

  • One of Chopin's better pieces. I wonder if it would work for a non-musical audience in a private setting (e.g. Living room).

    By the way, nice recording.
