e vero!! quando ho cominciato l italian credevo che sarebbe molto piu facile! ma ci sono tante cose diverse..sopratutto nelle gramatica!!! adesso l ho dimenticato un po pero..con le altre lingue..quando voglio parlare portughese ho voglia di parlare italiano!! hahah complimenti pr le tue capacità lingüistiche!!

now i just started portuguese and chinese (the latter is horribly difficult!!!!!!! and it goes really slowly...whereeas in portuguese i already can say a few things...its pretty close to spanish though...) and u can alwasy learn more!! lenguages are like eyes to see other worlds..i lvoe them!!

yes but people who speak spanish can easily understand a person who is speaking italian (and I'm talking about the ones that don't know the language at all) :)
Still, kudos for your 5 languages. I wish I could learn other languages (I know only 3 :P)

Guys, I'm Italian and 15 years old and I can speak Italian (of course), English, French, Spanish and I study Latin and ancient Greek at school ;) However Italian and Spanish are very close, that's true, but there are lots of "false friends" and differt grammar.

yes but the fact that u speak one doesnt mean u speak the other...spanish and italian gramatics r soooo different...for me learning italian is very easy of course...but the closer 2 languages r the bigger the attention u gotta pay to make well the difference between them...

Well Norwegian swedish and danish are more or less the same tongue,while spanish and italian are very close to each other as well.
