Karpov has one of the best end-game techniques. really instructive. The way he trades one wing pawn advantage for another is quite adept. Thanks for posting!

Karpov always lost to Kasparov in world championship matches, except once when they tied, but Kasparov retained the title.

Kasparov was better than Karpov... much better. Although their matches were incredible to watch.

Why would you say Kasparov was much better? In all their many WC encounters, only two games separate them. I personally think that they are really about equal--or to be more precise, that to say and one of them is definitely better than the other is just rather naive.
