AFAIK, the medusa was only a sequencer. Alfredo then added the oscillator, noise, and LFO, and created the mochika.

Thanks! How about the sequencer?
Is it sync'ed or is sync'ing. How did you patch it?
Thanks!

The mochika has +5V clock input and output, so you can sync the sequencer with other gear (either as master or slave). In this video, I'm slaving the mochika to the Mobius. I had to amplify the Mobius clock output a bit (using the dotcom signal processor) for the mochika to follow it, otherwise it would skip some steps.
The mochika's sequencer is hardwired to its oscillator's pitch, but it also has CV out, so you can use the sequencer to control dotcom modules. I will try this in my next patch.

Very nice!
How do you like the mochika?
How are you using it in this vid?
Thanks!

Should've replied to this weeks ago. Sorry. Anyway, the mochika is a pretty fun machine, but its oscillators are relatively unstable, so it's not so good for tonal-based stuff (unless you have a great ear and can tune it properly, which I don't). In this video, I'm basically using it for all those background noises and percussions. The dotcom does the bassline, hihats and snare, and the pad comes from the ESQ-1.
