@jase8282 But in Socal and Norcal we have Wildfires to kill some of the rats. Also we have Hawks, Crows, Snakes and Some people to eat the rats.

I don't care how good a place is. If I see mice/rats or find out that they have mic/rats, I am not going back to that place. end of story.

FDA allows a certain amount of funky organic stuff to be present within all foodstuffs. It's unavoidable unless you're talking about producing all food in sterile labs. The good news is that it isn't going to kill you. Notice that none of these investigations start out because people died from salmonella or anything. Not that food establishments should be infested, but I wouldn't panic too hard ;)

All those subway tunnels are rat freeways. It doesn't matter how much you clean they will visit every night. You need a couple of cats to patrol.

Yeah, this is pretty foul but honestly. What establishment in NY DOESN'T have mice? And at least they were HUGE rats like at Taco Bell in the Village?! I love PB and that place is NEXT to my apt. I'm just going to pretend I didn't see the video.
