ヨガで行う立ちポーズなど、丹田の意識がしっかりしていると安定しやすいポーズを行う時には特に役に立ちます。その時は息はしたまま骨盤底を引き上げる意識を持ちます。

呼吸法としては息を吸って丹田に落とし込み、下腹からわきあがる生命エネルギーを感じ引き上げる意識でムーラバンダをします。
