Exciting Concepts for Blues Guitar Soloing by Barry Levenson, is an exciting Blues guitar method (with both music notation and tablature) that explores the techniques found in great Blues soloing. The 14 solos contained in this book comprise some of the greatest "licks" in blues guitar playing. The solos include the playing styles of B.B. King, Buddy Guy, T-Bone Walker, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Hubert Sumlin. I used to see ol' Barry & the Automatics play BEFORE Zola Moon hooked up with them. They played every Friday nite at this little dive in Redondo Beach called Popeye's. Barry always had a bunch of talented guys in the band. I thought they were way to good to be playin there, but im glad they did....i lived 2 blocks away so i could drink 'til my back teeth were floating and i wouldnt need to drive home. I just crawled. ah..those were the days.

Barry is an awesome player. Sall him many a time at Redondo Pier and down in the Redondo Beach Rivera Village with Zola and the Automatics. Very very talented guy.
