Oh, and if you want to know why it is forbidden in 30 states, I don't know for sure, I had not heard that until now, but dollars to donuts it's for the same reason it's illegal to sell fresh milk in 50 states. I agree that it is a bad idea to butcher animals all day, every day. The meat industy, like every industry in our fascist country *is* corrupt, misguided and rotten, they more fully than most. It must be reformed. Furthermore, everyone who eats meat should butcher at least one animal in their lives. But it would be pure and outrageous conjecture to say that humane, moderate amounts of butchering could be the cause of war. One can't get any more anti-war then I am, for instance.

You make ridiculous comparisons, you just made another one. What was ridiculous before was for you to compare eating a cow to eating a child. I wish I spoke French; I'd wager you can't think very clearly in that language either.
