And he donated all the money he got from his favorite guitars to the needy. This particular song stands out because it inspires anyone who knows how to listen to an immaculate song and appreciate it.

Cat contributed a great deal to the music industry and this song "The Wind" is only one of his many all time best work and masterpieces. He was an incredible artist back then and still an extraordinary person with a good character today. He doesn't ask a lot for himself yet he has given his good heart. In the past, he was known for his countless charitable acts. He sold almost all of his special and signature guitars(I wouldn't be surprised if one of them was a Guild guitar).

I don't understand your pick-finger !

Thanks for posting this goldhat. I've been looking to learn this recently as it's one of my favorite songs period. Once I've mastered it, I'll post a video response paying respect to you.

Real crappy lesson, not that im shocked...this guy never gives a good lesson. Totally glossed over the chorus. Why even waste your time with such a crummy lesson.
-
The intro is played by a second guitar (Alun Davies) with a capo. Nice lesson though.

Great lesson! I've been trying to play this song for years and could never get the chorus part right. Thank you!!
i bookmarked it for later :D im gunny try and not cheat by using a tab this time haha. i just have to work on my pinky strength. i first learned finger-picking with only 3 fingers (dust in the wind). then moved to 4 lol on Time in a bottle. and am now gunna try and start using all five!!! thank you for the inspiration!

@Proflutzn Good idea! We need more 5 finger pickers in this world. You can get a special certificate for that one.

I'm sorry Mark. I just don't have the time to get my fingers do what you do with your guitar. I certainly get frustrated when I try LOL. I guess I am relegated to being a mere strummer for the rest of my life. You make it look easy but for me it just ISN'T easy. HaHa. God Bless my friend!

Hey Oly, don't worry, what you are doing is working very well, so keep it up. One of these years you will find the time.

Great job as always!
The guitar tone at 5:57 to 6:05 is such a cool insight! I'll have to get out my 1976 Yamaha and see if it holds a candle to your 1979 Guild!
Thanks as always.
