2010 Tek Venture Chain Reaction Challenge - Fort Wayne Rube Goldberg Machine Contest - Team Rube-ix Cube

Almost 150 steps taking about 4 minutes to run. Over 200 to 300 man-hours to build including five hours a day the last 3 weeks.

If I can help you with your Rube Goldberg machine, please dont hesitate to post a comment on the video. I will be glad to lend a hand. If you would like to see the machine in person, I will be glad to show it to you!

For more information go to: TekVenture.org

Reason for building: To inspire others to build a machine, to give an appreciation for science and technology, and its really fun!

Thanks: My Lord, Jesus Christ for giving me this talent, Andrew Hobson who told me about the contest, DeAnn Stouffer for 'infecting me with the Rube Goldberg bug', Cameron Trevino for helping make the machine more reliable this year, Carrie Makin for helping reset the machine this year, and my wife who helped make this possible in countless ways!

This year we won two awards:
Take it to the Limit - Most Complex Machine
People's Choice Award - for the most popular machine.

Second place:
Whimsical Wonder Award - for the machine that entertains the audience
Tickle My Ear Award - for the machine that makes the most sounds.
