  • Nice video.

But u missed 1 point or may b its not a point for u but it is for me. " the exam time"

I failed my test. I was well prepared. I was taking a little extra time to make sure that i dont make a mistake. But soon i realised that i only done half of of the test n i got 10 min left. Then i start rushing but at the end i failed.

  • @chshamich : I'm sorry to hear that you couldn't clear your test. I agree with you, time is a very important factor that I have missed mentioning in this video. Are you planning to give it another shot?

  • There are a few people posting comments that their faculty will write the exam for you. Please do not opt for such things. They may give you a certificate of CCNA/NP but they WILL steal your future forever..... Believe in yourself and just go ahead with it, on your own...!!!

  • I thank all of you for the appreciation. Good luck to those who still have to appear.

  • helooo and thanx for the video..i just got my ccna certifications cleared and i genuinely agree with , the toughness level that u have suggested its very fundamental and it needs regular practice..

just one thing that i would like to suggest is please concentrate more on troubleshooting the network..many times what happens is u end up with misconfiguration and u choose to reconfigure whole thing but i would suggest just try and troubleshoot the things it will help u a lot..

  • @biren32 : hanks for the post. I agree with you when you say about troubleshooting. I believe the best way to go for it is try and configure devices in GNS3. When you face scenarios in your test, they help you isolate the fault very easily.

  • Congratulations on your CCNA, and thanks for sharing your experience. I believe any certification will be truly "difficult" to anyone who just wants to slap certs on a resume. If you truly care about the subject and care to understand it, then the test will come more naturally. It sounds to me like you have a passion for networking. Again, congrats!

  • @anilv4 : Well I dont know, I was trying to upload the whole thing but only a part of it was successful and then I moved to India. I never had the chance of re-uploading the video.

  • I'm preparing for CCNA exam and this video has been a great help in calming my nerve.....thx a lot for that bro. My basics are clear & these days i'm workin on GNS3 to improve my configuration, verification and troubleshooting skills. i'm pretty confident abt my knowledge but when it comes to passing the exam....i get little bit nervous. Any suggestion before i take the CCNA exam..

  • I passed the ICND1 exam last December and now I am studying to take the ICND2 exam in March. I feel like I understand most of the concepts and I can configure/implement a network in simulation. What concerns me most is IP addressing. I can find how many subnetworks and hosts is required from subnet mask/CIDR but when I look at large networks or routing tables, I can get very confused. ACL and NAT configurations can also make me confused. What advice do you have for me? Thank you for this video!

  • IMO the CCNA exam is poor, I've sat 13 exams with Microsoft/Comptia/LPI and 90 minutes doesn't feel adequate for this exam. I had to give best guess answers from time constraints and barely had enough time to finish and the lack of a calculator adds salt to injury. I would never dream of working in the real world without properly thinking things through and checking my work, Something cisco seem to have a problem with as they don't even let you 'go back'. The first and last cisco exam for me.

  • @maxsmell : I could not agree with you more. But there are other ways people earn their certificates. If you did not use that way, then definitely, it is a great challenge. Even if you go honestly, the exam is not "rocket science", but it is not a "cake-walk" either, like Santhosh is explaining. Yes! It is not so itimidating as they say it is ... may be marketing.
