the facts are there are alot of ATVs and even more people take their horse trailers up there. Yes there's alot of ATV traffic, but there's plenty of room for everyone.
I have never gone up there and not seen wild horses. There's always several hanging about.
"Overrun with ATV's , no mustangs, used to be pristine."
That's funny my girlfriend and I went up there yesterday to plan a girls only trip and yes there were atv's out having fun, 10 people or so fishing the big pond and 6 or 7 different bands of mustangs with foals. It's as beautiful as I've ever seen it and the mustangs are thriving so you need to get your facts straight and leave the great outdoors to those who really know how to enjoy it!!
we have owned property up here for 17 years...I can promise you it is a great place to go and get outta the city. The wild horses and elk are a sight to see...the ATV trails are endless. You get the all the seasons up here and if ya don't like the winters...just head back down that hill and your back in the desert! We love it up there....
if they want to live in a small town they can live in Boulder City which is a small town but unlike Cold Creek has shops and is only about 15 min drive from Henderson and is about a 1/2 hour drive from Lake Mead.
I see that you dont know much about Cold Creek...over run with ATV's you say? Cold Creek is a place where simple people can enjoy a quality way of life, have our toys and not get harrassed by city tree huggers such as yourself. I suggest you stay in Henderson or where ever you come from and leave Cold Creek to the country folk
Visited there today, 5/25/09, over run with ATVs...no mustangs in site - it's a shame...used to be pristine...the ATVs will scar the earth and scare off the wildlife.
Can anybody tell me who this song is by ? The name + who is it? Great song!~thanks

Great to see some of Cold Creek, but could have been compressed into half the time and edit out the camera shakes and scenes of the ground.
