I remember this song at the time, Tina was the next ABBA type singer after ABBA. I don't remember the tempo being so fast or the vocals so high. I never understood why Tina wasn't a global star, but singing is not the same as the olympics where the best runner is obvious

I did speed up the song - lust a littlewhen I converted it to digital ... just to make it slightly more lively ... shhh, don't tell Tina - she might be cross!

You played the trumpet lines ? Wow - respect to you! Personally speaking I feel the trumpet lines really enhance the song and give it that extra pizaz contributing to its rightfull "first" place at the song contest. The song is somewhast dated now but back in the day music was music and musicians WERE musicians not like the electronic computorised generated music of today !!! Would you believe it...found this single at "Real Groovy" today. Ranks in my top 5 NZ songs ever. Thank you Tina and Carl. Tina, you are inspirational.

i was around 11 when this song came out and loved this song! what a gorgeous woman back then and still a babe till this day. she also sang a ripper version a few years back on the variety performance "to sir with love" in honour of the great Sir Howard Morrison. and sometime back in the early 80s also had her own short run series with her as a shop owner, though can't remember much more about it.

How was Tina with Leon Berger (Koo De Tah), one of the most under rated bands world wide. Could have went way ferther with better management.

Love Tina, use to see Leon at the muso's club in Sydney (three days a week , lol)
