For 13 years, the powerful and expressive voice of Anneke along with the flawless and unique sound of
the band made The Gathering a source of inspiration for lots of metal bands with feminine voices, also giving the public
an unique feeling of joy for everytime they listen to their music.
"In Power We Entrust The Love Advocated" is originally peformed by Dead Can Dance, recorded by The Gathering 1-4 Sept. 1997 at S & K Studios, Doetinchem, Netherlands, Album 'Kevin's Telescope ', 1997.

  • Nice cover, her voice is so sweet...

  • excelente video, muy buenas imagenes de anneke, y que buen cover

  • @czernislaw hell no , its pretty good but not even close to the original.

  • @czernislaw Knock Knock Is there anything in there?

  • @czernislaw Knock, knock, is there anything in there?

  • @Kanashto Well, I can't change the fact that the original is sung the same :) But I would have timed the word more syncopic and lazier (or later). With equal time between the syllables, but in a triplet or so, to keep it a bit off-beat. It is then up to the singer to apply character by adding his/her own style (usually later is better). Moreover I would add a one beat pause between 'disposessed' and 'children' to push all the rest of the text somewhat behind and give it an off-beat signature.

  • @insidethefall78 Yeah I listened to the original track and found that the timing was similar. Must be the song then :-)
