@Kanashto Well, I can't change the fact that the original is sung the same :) But I would have timed the word more syncopic and lazier (or later). With equal time between the syllables, but in a triplet or so, to keep it a bit off-beat. It is then up to the singer to apply character by adding his/her own style (usually later is better). Moreover I would add a one beat pause between 'disposessed' and 'children' to push all the rest of the text somewhat behind and give it an off-beat signature.
