As a mother of 8 years old boy, I was really impressed and couldn't stop the tears from my eyes.

I think no other songs can express the feelings of a mother or father who must live separate from her/his child.

ELVIS' incredible , full of emotion voice touchs my heart whenever I listen to My Boy...

I am father of the motherless family.

It divorced because of the wife's demand.

Kramer vs. Kramer was seen in childhood.

My parents also were living apart.

This song is os hard for me> as i lost my son at the age of four to a drunk driver whie he was playing in his own yard, That day tore my family appart my wife left i have very ittle contact with my two other children, and it as all my fault because i was at work instead of being at home where i belong to protect ny son, and my family, anyway thanks for the heartfelt video

This movie and the song as only Elvis can powerfully translate the meaning through his voice too sadly reflects the pain of divorce. However in the movie the mother sorta forfeited her rights to the child by abandoning him and we were glad the father got to keep him in that case.
