Cont... Yahweh is perfect in his ways he'd established 12 months throughout the year.
In the old testament and new testament says 12 months even in Rev 20.
Abib marks the Equinox that's what Yahshua says in the new testament " doesn't the day have 12 hours???" he meant ....
-
...cont.... The meaning of Abib is very simple, it means "beginning or spring" so do the math the moon DOES NOT complete the full month it'll only give you 27-29 days a month. Why do you think TODAY jews and messianics have and ADD another month which would be 13th month of their calendar.
-
Cont.... To SAD to say that today many believers of Yahshua don't realize or ignore the real calendar of Yahweh!!
Why do I say this??? Well, #1 cause today many go by the Moon calendar which we know that it has PAGAN origen!!! You can tell through the names it has... Israel adopted it when they were in exiled in Babylon.
#2 Yahweh says Ex 12.3/ Ex 13.1 the month of Abib NOT Nissan(Babylon name)...

Who was Paul making tents for as a tentmaker? Did the ones he made tents for LIVE IN TENTS permanently?

@combatvetlawstudent Great question. Sometimes we read something in the bible thousands of times and don't ask the most logical questions as you just have. He was making tents; two possibilities are that people used tents just to live in or for different functions since they are portable they could be very useful and the other possibility is that those that kept the Holy Days needed a well made tent for the Feast of Tents (Sukkot) Leviticus 23.

So are you saying we dont literally set up a tent or it just now symblolizes our body? Thank you

I really think the best way to keep Succot is to sleep in a tent each night but if you don't I don't think it is a sin. In other words I think it is okay to keep the feast of tabernacles in just about any accomodations but I think you miss out on a big chunk of the meaning of the festival. And if it is feasible it would be great to stay in something even more rustic than a tent, like a homemade succah made of natural materials.
