08 G6 Cherry Bomb exhaust

DO NOT BUY FLOWMASTERS FOR G6's! SINGLE CHAMBER ONLY! OR FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT CALL IT ABSORPTION MUFFLERS. These Cherry Bombs are 12" length and increased sound dramatically compared to the Flowmasters that I had. Please comment and rate.

Hey! Exactly what are they called? I had flowmasters now im wpnderin which glasspacks fit on stock exhaust base model

@1GreatLake Theyre really only 12" 2.25" inlet and 2.25" outlet Cherry Bomb glasspack mufflers. Dont waste your time trying to find these under exact YMM (Year Make Model). Just find the dimensions. Its easier than ppl are making it out to be. Haha.

i've got a g6 gtp...just ordered a flowmasters super 44 yesterday. I'm thinking I want to change to this now after hearing it lol. is this exhaust too loud? (when you're not getting into it) i want something that will scream if i get on it but be able to drive past cops without getting a drive at the same time haha

@dellwiz08 Haha yeah avoid the 44's. It is loud with the glasspacks but not to the point where you cant hear inside the car. But yeah when you get on it, it will wake you up. Haha. I got rid of the resonator too but i would suggest keeping the stock one on bc there really is alot of RPM rasp since the resonator is gone.

Magnaflow shorties with no resonator sounds way better. The Maggnaflow mufflers get rid of the raspy/ricer sound. Flowmaster anything on these cars just sounds horrible!

ok i just put on 2 glass packs cherry bombs on my g6 gxp but i still have the stock resonator, and its not near as loud as yours is. should i remove the resonator and straight pipe it or replace the resonator with another glass pack cherry bomb?

Alright i have a 09 gxp and like the sound of this. Do you only have the glasspack? Is that the only alteration to your exhaust (other than removing the resonator)? How loud is it when your on the highway?

idk kinda sounds like a tractor...maybe just the sound quality tho
