Ted and Casey hire a nanny to care for their new baby, Alice, who seems to be the perfect person to care for the new baby. She's a registered pediatric nurse, warm, smart and loving. The problem is she's a little too loving when it comes to Ted. When Alice, mortified by her crush, decides to quit, it's up to George to figure out a way to keep her on the island and away from Ted.

Featureman-- I happened to be in the studio audience for the "The Cameo Show"-- my father & stepmother had come out to L.A. to visit me, and I brought them to see this taping since he was as big a Bob Newhart fan as I was-- and it was so fantastic since they had cameo appearances from all his great supporting actors from his previous shows! That was the highlight of my dad's visit! I wish CBS had given this show more of a chance!

I got to work one episode of that show in 1997. It was called The Cameo Show. I had worked with Judd before on Dear John. Bob Newhart was a delightful person who was just like you see him here.
