Western developers just wants to give us a middle finger and ruining everything that was good. That's something USA can do very well. If they do something good, they eventually ruin it later so fuck it. I enjoyed Orphan, it was rather good and atmospheric. And Arcade... it was a quarter-swallow machine. Fan-service? You don't say?! Now what?! Still better than what is this going to be.

Yes. They were better because japanese made them. Somehow their games actually made sense. And I don't care what you say, because when a god-knows what generation handheld console with PS3 powers offers me a crappy Diablo clone SH game... Orphan and Arcade level of disappointment are NOTHING compared to what I feel now. They could made a far better SH for Vita, but they couldn't. Why? Because fuck you, that's why. ...

Orphan was a pretty crappy game, there are/were much better games for cellphone than that shit. And 90% of Arcade was senseless fanservice.

SH Arcade is know what, an arcade game, and it was good for that, you shouldn't expect more from an arcade game. Orphan again was a point-and-click Mobile game, but again, it was at least enjoyable given the platform. If the mentioned games was on Vita or PSP, well, I could understand your point of view. Vita can handle way more than a bullcrap multiplayer Silent Hill. They had the chance to show off... still trolling us.

I remember a game of horror, with a chilling atmosphere, twisted charectors, and special attention to all that was warped about the human condition. This seems to me to be a flat coke, when what I want is fine aged whiskey
There has not been a truly great silent hill since the 3rd, the rest are mediocre at best.
I do not mind all good things coming to an end... I mind drowning in idiocy. Thank you for the first three Konami. I'll not make the mistake of buying one of your games again.

I really think that's the problem.Why America have to buy everything?Silent Hill was a good game when it was a japanese game.I'm not racist or something but I think people have different attitude in different countries and this game needs japanese people who can make it awesome..And I really think book of memories could be a good game but not a good SILENT HILL game..
