After Dan Morgan Intercepted Chris Weinke's pass at the 9 in 2000 right before the half he became my favorite Miami LB ever. Dude left everything out on the field. Ray is a close 2nd btw.

miami almost came a way with that game. Our offense was not that good to control the game. FRANK COSTA WAS NOT GETTING IT DONE. Miami's defense played well enough to win the game. I will agree that they were tire because they were called upon to do so much.

you hit the nail on the head the reason miami had such great defenses wa because of their dominat dlines. remember when nebraska beat miami was becasuse nebraka had big stron oline that just tired the miami dline and then proceded to run right at theme with a big strong fullback.

my memories of Cane football is defensive lines dominating play throughout the 80's and big hitting linebackers and cocky wr's like Michael Irvin. they had the same presence during games like the 49'ers did in the 80's. they knew they were going to win, only question was by how much and how many bodies were going to the hospital before the game was over.
