I liked View to A Kill. Not Moore's best, but still fun. Christopher Walken was a GREAT evil mastermind.

I actually didn't mind AVTAK. Sure Moore was old, but that didn't bother me that much. Zorin was awesome though. This film should have been a Dalton film, think about it: On one hand, you got a nasty sadistic sick twisted Max Zorin, now imagine Zorin fighting Dalton's cold, dark Bond.

'the hell you talkin' about?

1) you pronounced both the names "Llewellyn" and "Tibbett" incorrectly.

2) the writers don't suggest Zorin is nuts because of experiments performed by the KGB. It's implied that he is a clone or some sort of abandoned "Boys from Brazil" Nazi thing. His *German* doctor/mentor made that pretty obvious. He's like Mengle.

3) "the movie having nothing to do with the (original) story"... That doesn't make it unique among the films. Most don't resemble the books at all.

@NecroVMX The 'Casino Royale' spoof was not a MOVIE, it was a part of a TV series called Climax. It is indeed you who is failing.

Besides, you don't know which many unofficial Bond movies that have been made, using your loose definition you have no idea how many there are. Perhaps I made some in my childhood? This is perhaps the 19th, or 140th, Bond movie.

a think casting was great for this film with the villains and henchmen being very ruthless towardsanyone who stands in their way, walken and jones were great and may days redemption in helping bond was a lot better than jaws in moonraker, the locations were brilliantly chosen in the film and moore definitely tries his best despite his age, a memorable film :)
