When visitors see this app on a Facebook Page (you could actually make it the default landing tab), they will see your 'Like' image. This should be an image which entices them to 'Like' your Page and tell them what kind of download they will receive once they do...you know...basic marketing stuff. After they like your page, you will have a 'Main' image which should encourage them to 'Share' the Page! There will be nice Facebook Buttons below the image which say 'Skip' (required by Facebook) and 'Share'!
When they click that 'Share' button, a Facebook dialog pop-up will appear with the share settings you have pre-determined in the app settings. Once they click 'Post', that whole dialog gets posted to THEIR WALL for all to see! That wall post will also feature a link back to the app tab on your Page! All their friends see it and come to the Page, and they want the download...then all their friends see it, and all their friends' friends, and ON...and ON... Do you feel the POWER?
We haven't even talked about the Download yet! After visitors 'Share' the Page, they will see a third, 'Download' image. This will have a nice, Facebook style button below it which allows them to download your item in a new tab of their browser so they never leave your page. If it is a PDF, Image, or Video, it will open in the browser. If it is a Zip file, it will be downloaded to their computer. If the visitor ever comes back to download the item again, they will be shown the second, 'Main' image asking them to 'Share' again!
