@Asan369Nefer ... we remember our ancestors by first knowing who we are... AFRIKANS in ameriKKKa... afriKKKan ameriKKKans are sale outs that join the same people that slaved ,raped, killed and still doing all of that to us...
as a AFRIKAN in amerikkka I dont believe the hype... most are lost here I was born here and told the same... but aint no white man going come out the sky and save me from white people... christianity is bullshit
I reckon that there is no need debating issues, you have clearly established a truth in your last few lines which and there is not further reason fro me to attempt to convince you of why I believe what I believe... I dont believe in forcing religions on people, everyone is free to believe or disbelieve what they want to but while doing that they shd also realise to keep their heart on one thing the TRUTH... it surpasses religion or belief system, for me its a way of life.
As an African American who is initiated as an nganga and is an aborisha working toward being an olorisha, who has had personal spiritual experiences his entire life which cause him to question the relevance of his inherited Christianity....I am VERY PROUD of you for asking these important questions...How does one validate their belief if they only inherited it? How does one deal with the cognitive dissonance created by slavery? When will we remember our ancestors?
@inphanta...Another issue you raised is the issue of Jesus being foreign to our culture and yet we accept him...yea, he is foreign to every other culture not just ours - Anglo-Saxon, Celts, Indians, etc...don't let the Caucasians fool you into thinking they "own" Jesus with that false image of theirs...But, it doesn't matter what race Jesus was from...it is the message that counts...a message of hope that has reverberated through history...
@inphanta...I don't have all the answers...but I have peace...I'm a doctor and I don't know where babies go to when they die...I don't know how mentally-handicapped people can make a decision for their saviour...but I have peace in knowing that God is a good God...he is a just God...
@inphanta...that is not the meaning of GRACE...that is licentiousness...however, True Christianity is different because it is a gift...it is the only religion that gives you all the promises at the very start and assures you that you are saved at the very beginning...the issue of what people do with that assurance is up to them...for me, it gave me more reason to love God, love people and do the right thing from my heart...
@metroman111283: The "grace" of Christianity simply means that it doesn't matter how you behave or treat others, you get to heaven simply because of what you do or don't believe. I don't see how this automatically makes Christianity true.

I believe in taking as much psychoactive drugs and hallucinogenic plants to reveal the God within. People lie, I make my own path.
