We stumbled a cross some in Colton on a stretch of street running! Awesome vid, 5*****! Ya know if they replace these, I'll be so friekin' pissed! They shouldn't replace them, the speed limit is slow for trains, and the people can see and clearly hear a train coming! DON'T REPLACE THEM! THEY'RE HISTORY, REPLACING THOSE WIG-WAGS IS LIKE KILLING HISTORY!

The light is on. That bell is hitting the case. It's a pain in the butt to adjust but when done right they sound great.

THAT'S REALLY COOL, SEEING A NICE OLD RELIC LIKE THIS DOING WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO!! I LIVE IN IL. AND THE LAST PLACE THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN ONE WORKING (BESIDES THE RR MUSEUM!) WAS ON THE OLD CHICAGO & NORTH WESTERN, IN ELGIN,IL. JUST LIKE THE OLD OUTDOOR WARNING SIRENS, WHEN THEY DON'T WANT THEM ANYMORE, THEY USUALLY GET SCRAPPED! WHAT A SHAME!!!!! REALLY NICE VIDEO!!

That's a loud bell! This is my favorite weather! that's almost my favorite wigwag.

When I was at Norton Air Force Base back in 1987 & 88, there were 2 or 3 wigwags of this style in Redlands & 1 a few blocks from Norton in San Bernandino. I suppose they are all gone now.
