You know what Abstinence doesn't prevent? R A P E.
Hormonal contraceptives prevent unwanted pregnancies regardless is intercourse that would otherwise have caused an unwanted pregnancy was consensual or not.
So the absolute safest way is NOT abstinence, it is Abstinence WITH hormonal contraceptives.
Get your religion out of my uterus.
