I am David welcome to my blog . Multitrack recording software is the best way and has the ability to record multiple audio tracks to hard disk one track at a time. This gives the music producer incredible power when working with a band or artist. You will be able to record one track at a time and do multiple takes until each musician has done their best take. For example , if a singer is struggling to hit a certain note , you can re-record that specific section again and again until the singer gets it right. This can be very useful.

  • Ableton live I found is much better for MIDI sequencing so if you're trying to make Hip Hop beats or electronic music without using live instruments yet, I'd suggest getting Ableton Live. They have a free 30 day trial too.

  • @doctorug55 I'll check it out . I dont know Ableton very well

  • Personally I'm gonna go with Logic Pro on the Mac but Pro Tools is good too amongst others

  • what do you recommend for a mac? i'm a DAW virgin.

  • @pusspittman1 Logic Pro is AWESOME !!

    keep up the vids

  • @steadytube Garageband is great for playing around but if you want to go to the next level you really need to upgrade to logic , you will love it

  • Another great video mate! Ive been using Fl studio for years and have found it very easy to use, as well as meeting my needs, although i might decide to give logic a go soon :) Ive heard some music of yours on your channel, but would love to hear more but coudn't find anything? :L

  • NUENDO 4

  • A GREAT GUY...WITH VALUABLE WORDS....

  • Nuendo rules

  • for sound audio cards are a must.

mac - logic pro / cubase

    pc - Samplitude-Sequoia pro / cubase / logic plat / synapse orion.

on the side - soundforge 6-8 / aicd pro 3-5 the cakewalk vst adaptor , wavelab 6 , AAMS , melodyne , Presonis . adobe audition , adobe soundbooth ,

FL studio is crapware in my opinion , its got a horrible sound engine -not professional in my opinion , you want the big sound you use the big tools and a good audio card 24bit/96000 or higher .

  • @Songwriter4God yea i know its basic but its fast and i can open it up in logic for more editing i used pro tools for 13 yrs just don't want to pay for over price plug ins.I know how to get a good sound from it and i known a lot of professional using it rite now i know three major artists that used it

  • It may seem outrageous for I am about say, Fl STUDIO is by far the best and the easiest ever.

I master all my tracks in it. No doubts about it. Here is a shocking revelation for all of you.

    Thank you

  • I record in Acid, Mix and Master in Sonar X1.

  • NIce to meet u. ur a good man/.

  • Cubase and Logic are the big boys.
